- Manage financial operations, including month-end closing, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit support.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, statutory reports, permits, licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review billings, collections, payables, disbursements, and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and fund balances while ensuring timely deposits and proper financial controls.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, variance analyses, and long-term property enhancement plans.
- Support property transitions by preparing financial reports and coordinating financial requirements.
- Oversee financial performance of managed properties and recommend improvements to billing, collection, and financial processes.
- Lead, coach, and monitor team performance to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Collaborate with landlords, clients, auditors, and stakeholders to address financial concerns and provide business insights.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, professional development activities, and company programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accountancy, CPA certification is preferred but not always required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting skills.
- Audit coordination and compliance management experience.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership, coaching, and team collaboration skills.
- Adaptability to evolving accounting standards, regulations, and technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the property management industry
- Willing to work on site.
- Amenable to work six (6) days a week.
